

Chinese carmakers are seeing their popularity rise in overseas markets, which may push the country's vehicle exports to a new high this year following a surge in 2022.
In January 2023, auto companies exported more than 300,000 vehicles, an increase of over 30% year-on-year. New-energy vehicles increased by over 48% compared with last year. At the Haitong International Automobile Terminal in Waigaoqiao Port Area, the ro-ro ship from the Yangtze River Delta, fully loaded with nearly 800 domestic brand vehicles, docked at the terminal for departure on Sunday morning.
At the same time, the Liberian ro-ro ship is also loading with vehicles, and they will all set off here for Israel.The export volume of cars at Haitong Terminal exceeded one million for the first time in 2022, which is four times that of 2019.
