China launched a land exploration satellite

China launched a land exploration satellite into a preset orbit from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the southwestern province of Sichuan on Sunday. A Long March-3B rocket carried the satellite into space. The satellite is mainly used to provide remote-sensing information services. The launch was the 483rd mission of the Long March rocket series.
