China, Indonesia wrap up naval navigation exercise

The Chinese and Indonesian navies completed a joint naval navigation exercise on Wednesday, in the waters east of Chinese Taiwan Island. The drills featured the Chinese naval vessel and the Indonesian frigate conducting communication tests, formation maneuvers, and underway replenishment.

The exercise demonstrated the two navies' willingness and capability to conduct practical cooperation and jointly contribute to regional peace and stability, said a statement from the Chinese military.
