China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Saturday urged the United States to rejoin the 2015 nuclear deal aimed at reining in Tehran's nuclear program. Wang spoke at the annual World Peace Forum organized by Tsinghua University and the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs. The comments come after talks in Vienna, in which the five countries that remain parties to the agreement concluded without a clear resolution on outstanding issues on how the United States can rejoin. The 2015 accord is aimed at preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons, which Tehran denies it is seeking.
