China’s vast market offers opportunities for global cooperation

China’s vast market provides great opportunities and a platform for cooperation for the world, Commerce Minister Wang Wentao said on Friday on the sidelines of the fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress.

Wang said that the market is the scarcest resource in the world, and China has rolled out three economic initiatives in recent years to expand the country’s openness to the rest of the world.

He stressed that those initiatives not only invite to all countries to share the opportunities of China’s huge market but also secure that Chinese people can purchase high-quality foreign products in China. He noted that the initiative also gives a signal to invest and start more foreign enterprises in China.
