Chile leader visits Argentina on first trip abroad

In his first foreign trip since taking office, Chilean President Gabriel Boric arrived in Buenos Aires on Monday for a two-day trip to neighboring Argentina.Boric met with Argentine President Alberto Fernández for talks at the Casa Rosada presidential palace.At a news conference after their meeting, Boric reiterated his support for Argentina's claims to the Falklands Islands, also known as the Malvinas Islands, and his intention to resolve the political conflict with Chile's Indigenous Mapuche nation through dialogue.Earlier in the day, Borci laid wreath at the monument of Argentine independence hero José de San Martin.
