Child Labour Eradication: Works Programme For Eliminationofchild Labour Discussed

The Myanmar National Committee on Child Labour Eradication held a coordination meeting on January 13th.

Secretary of the Committee Deputy Minister for Labour U Win Shein stressed the needs to eradcate and prevent effectively the mission of Myanmar Programmeon theEliminationofChild Labour.

He also called for providing effective protection to the legally working children in line with the law,avoiding theuse of child labour in the hardzadous workplaces and helping them to find a decent job and join the vocational training schools. The Myanmar Programmeon theEliminationofChild Labour was targeted to implement in 15-year period from 2019 to 2033. Six objectives have been laid down for the first 5-year plan from 2019 to 2023.
