Capacity Building : Presentation on AI in Education

In order to enhance teaching and research skill of teachers, a seminar on Presentation on AI in Education was held at Naypyitaw State Academy on Friday.

Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein attended the seminar, along with the Deputy Minister Dr. Zaw Myint and concerned officials.  Stating the important role of AI in today’s digital education, the Union Minister said teachers need to understand how AI takes its role in teaching and learning sector.

Teachers are urged to use data and statistic from AI technology as references in school exercises and curriculum, providing needs and wants of the students depending on country’s situation. The Union Minister urged the teachers to systematically apply AI in training, research and school projects effectively.

This was followed by presentations on using AI technology in teaching. It is learnt that the seminar on Interactive Teaching and Learning Approaches is scheduled for the coming week.
