This year, Viet Nam’s wood industry has significantly recovered, driven by increased demand in major markets like the US and EU.

However, Vietnamese wood businesses remain proactive, continuously adjusting production to diversify products and explore new markets. According to the Ho Chi Minh City Handicraft and Wood Industry Association, wood and wood product exports have shown robust growth, propelled by positive signals from the US and EU markets.

Although wood exports to the UK declined last year, signs of a rebound have emerged this year. Additionally, markets like the US and Canada have experienced strong growth, exceeding 20% compared to the same period last year, attributed to the recovery of purchasing power in these regions.
