Boric starts presidency with Indigenous ceremony

After Friday's presidential inauguration, the youngest president in Chilean history, Gabriel Boric, spent his first day as president in the Moneda.

The new president along with the first lady took part in an Indigenous ceremony, where representatives of seven of the country's Indigenous peoples offered good omens for his term in office.

After the ceremony Boric and his cabinet attended a Catholic mass to "pray for Chile" in the Cathedral of Santiago.
