Border Trade Fair: Myanmar Displays 53 Booths

The 18th China-Myanmar Border Trade Fair is being exhibited in Ruili, Dehong Prefecture of the People Republic of China from 10th to 12nd December.

Myanmar is displaying 53 booths such as local products, tourism service, traditional medicines, Myanmar traditional handicrafts, agricultural produces, fishery products, finished wood products  and banking service in the event. China exhibits more than 450 booths such as industrial products, personal goods, furniture and foodstuff.

The event aimed to promote bilateral trade and strengthen more friendship between people of the two countries.

According to the Agreement on Management and Cooperation in China-Myanmar Border Areas, the meeting of Myanmar-China Joint Border Trade Cooperating and Coordinating Committee has been held since 2001 and the border trade fair is held in the two nations in turn.
