Bilateral Ties: MoFA Union Minister Receives Ambassador of India

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Mr. Abhay Thakur, Ambassador of India, at the Pan Wah Guest House in Yangon on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they discussed matters pertaining to promotion of bilateral cooperation in various sectors between Myanmar and India, including boundary-related matters, bilateral trade and India’s assistance to Myanmar for post-earthquake recovery. Also present at the meeting were senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar and representatives of the Indian Embassy.
