Bilateral Relations: Myanmar, Saudi Arabia Exchange Views

Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing received Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Myanmar Mr. Saud bin Abdullah Al Subaie on Friday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

At the meeting, the Union Minister congratulated the Ambassador for having been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Myanmar and briefed on the discussions between Myanmar and Bangladesh regarding the repatriation of displaced persons from Rakhine State.

They also exchanged views on the importance of religious harmony, expanding bilateral cooperation particularly in trade, investment and energy sectors.
