Bilateral Engagements: President concludes State Visit to Laos

President U Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla concluded their state visit to the Laos and departed from Luang Prabang International Airport for Myanmar on Sunday afternoon.

The President and his wife were seen off at the airport by responsible Lao officials and Myanmar Embassy staff before boarding their return flight. As the delegation departed, Lao Boy and Girl Scouts lined both sides of the red carpet, waving the flags of the two countries and warmly bidding farewell to the President and his wife.

Upon arrival in Nay Pyi Taw, senior government and military officials and staff from Lao Embassy in Myanmar welcomed the delegation at the airport. During the visit, President U Min Aung Hlaing held talks with the Lao President, National Assembly Speaker and the Prime Minister as well as the Secretary of the Luang Prabang Provincial Party Committee. He also visited local industries and several historical and religious sites in Laos.
