







A delegation led by Ms Volha Chamadanova of the Belarusian Party, met with officials from the Ministry of Information and Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) in Yangon on Friday.
The delegation, which will observe Phase (3) of multi-party democracy general election scheduled for January 25, was accompanied by Belarus Ambassador to Myanmar, Mr Uladimir Baravikou. The meeting was held in the afternoon at the MRTV meeting hall on Pyay Road, Yangon, where both sides discussed matters related to election observation and cooperation.
She added that the friendly relations between Myanmar and Belarus are progressing with great potential, with opportunities for cooperation in various sectors, including the economy and media field. [Soundbite] Myanmar is holding the multi-party democracy general election in three phases. The first phase took place on December 28, 2025, the second phase on January 11, 2026 and the third phase is scheduled on January 25.
