Biden talks G-7 priorities to US troops in UK

US President Joe Biden spoke to US forces based in the United Kingdom on Wednesday about his priorities after arriving ahead of the Group of Seven summit.

Biden said the US troops in the UK were "diplomats" and "bridge builders" and an "essential part" of the relationship between the US and UK. Biden said "no single nation acting alone can meet all the challenges we face today", before saying COVID-19 and climate change must be tackled in a multilateral way. The US leader also reaffirmed his "rock solid" commitment to NATO.
