








At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the high-level Myanmar delegation led by Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who was in Kazakhstan on a working visit, departed in the morning on September 29, from Astana Airport, Kazakhstan, on a special flight back to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
Subsequently, the special aircraft carrying the Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing made a brief stop at Kunming Airport, Kunming City, People's Republic of China, where Mr. Hu Dapeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Yunnan Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Deng Xijun, Special Envoy for Southeast Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, and other officials warmly welcomed the delegation at the airport.
Next, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman and a Standing Committee Member of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, met and discussed at the airport reception hall. They talked about the fact that China and Myanmar are neighboring countries with strong kinship ties and are trustworthy friendly nations. They also discussed China's ongoing assistance to Myanmar during times of natural disasters, including earthquakes, and its commitment to continue providing necessary support. The two sides agreed to fully cooperate to maintain peace and stability in the China-Myanmar border region, to jointly suppress illegal border crossings, and to promptly implement projects and agreements involved in the China-Myanmar economic corridor.
They also exchanged broad and open views on matters related to enhancing communication and trade between Myanmar, China, and Yunnan Province, as well as cooperation that would benefit both countries and their peoples, aiming to continuously strengthen such collaboration.
Subsequently, the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, and members departed for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar by special aircraft. It is reported that members of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Yunnan Provincial Party Committee, accompanied and saw them off.
