










An Awareness and Discussion Event on Corruption Prevention, jointly organized by the Anti-Corruption Commission and the Kachin State Government, was held Thursday morning at the Maykha Hall of the Kachin State Government Office. Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htain Nan attended the event and delivered the opening remarks.
First, the Kachin State Chief Minister delivered the opening address, after which the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, U Soe Thein, gave an explanatory presentation on anti-corruption efforts.
Subsequently, Director U Thein Htaik Win from the Anti-Corruption Commission Office spoke on corruption prevention measures, while Director General U Kaung Zaw Thant explained the Anti-Corruption Law. Participants then raised questions related to corruption issues, which were responded to by officials from the Anti-Corruption Commission Office.
Afterwards, Commission member U Loon Baw led a meeting with the Corruption Prevention Units (CPUs), during which discussions were held on their operational experiences, strengths and weaknesses, and relevant assessments and recommendations related to their work, it’s reported.
