Awarding Outstanding Students: OAGU awarded outstanding students

The Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Staff Welfare Committee held an awards ceremony today at 10:00 a.m. in a hybrid format. The event, which took place in the Nawarat Hall at the OAGU office in Nay Pyi Taw, honored the children of staff members who passed the matriculation exam for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The ceremony was attended by Union Auditor General Dr. Khin Naing Oo, Deputy Auditor General Daw Naing Thet Oo, and other senior officials. In her speech, Dr. Khin Naing Oo stated that education is the foundation of nation-building. The country’s development depends on the knowledge, skills, and expertise of its people, and these awards are meant to encourage and promote education.

Afterward, the Union Auditor General, Deputy Auditor General, Permanent Secretary, and directors-general presented cash awards and certificates of honor to the outstanding students including one student with five distinctions, one student with four distinctions, six students with three distinctions, eight students with two distinctions, 16 students with one distinction, 39 students who passed the exam.

The awards were received by the students, their parents, and other relevant officials, both those in attendance and those who joined online. Following the presentation, one student with five distinctions and one student with four distinctions expressed words of thanks on behalf of all the award recipients.
