Award Presenting Ceremony: Sagaing Region CM delivered the opening speech

An award presenting ceremony to present equipment and outstanding awards to trainees from the Small-Scale Production Business Creation and Rural Household Income Enhancement Projects implemented under the Sagaing Region Fund for the 2025-2026 fiscal year by the Sagaing Region Department of Small-Scale Industries was held at the Chindwin Hall in Monywa on 17th September. Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw attended the event and delivered the opening address.

First, Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw stated that the projects to create small-scale production businesses and enhance rural household income are designed to help young people and women from urban and rural areas who were unable to complete their education, enabling them to increase their family income without having to leave their homes.

Following this, the Deputy Director of the Region Department of Small-Scale Industries explained the details of the Small-Scale Production Business Creation and Rural Household Income Enhancement Projects.

Next, the Region Chief Minister and other attendees watched and supported a documentary video clip highlighting the implementation of project activities within the region.

Subsequently, the Region Chief Minister, the Region Chief Justice, and members of the Region Government presented regional development equipment to outstanding trainees who excelled in the training programs conducted under the Small-Scale Production Business Creation and Rural Household Income Enhancement Projects. On behalf of the trainees, one trainee expressed words of gratitude, and a group photo was taken to commemorate the occasion.

Furthermore, the Region Chief Minister and officials toured the equipment for regional development, which was displayed in the hall and intended to be awarded to the outstanding trainees. They also coordinated with responsible personnel to address any necessary requirements.

After that, the Region Chief Minister attended and delivered opening remarks at the 8/2025 Meeting of the Sagaing Region Investment Committee, held in the meeting hall of the Region Government Office, it’s reported.
