Australian breaks surfing record

An Australian surfer has broken the world record after surfing continuously for 40 hours in Sydney on Friday, local media reported. Hundreds of people packed the Cronulla Beach to cheer on former pro surfer Blake Johnston after breaking the record at 30 hours and 11 minutes, according to local media. Johnston completed the gruelling surf to raise money and awareness for mental health issues.
