Asia-Pacific Media Forum : MOI Deputy Minister visits Dongguan and Shenzhen

A delegation led by Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint visited Dongguan and Shenzhen of China, ahead of the Asia-Pacific Media Forum. On September 3, the delegation visited DeRUCCI’s AI mattress factory and OPPO Binhai Bay Park in Dongguan, where they learned about AI technology, manufacturing processes and innovative products.

The delegation later attended the Asia-Pacific Media Forum Dongguan Sub-forum, where participants discussed new development trends in the Asia-Pacific region through digital technology, artificial intelligence and green development.

The delegation also visited Eyes of the GBA, one of the world’s largest bookstores, in Shenzhen. On September 4, they visited BYD company to learn about innovations in its vehicles and the company’s global expansion.

They also visited Futian Mangrove Ecological Park, where U Ye Tint and media representatives planted mangrove saplings. In the evening, the delegation attended the Asia-Pacific Media Forum Shenzhen Sub-forum at the Futian Shangri-La Hotel.
