Armoured combat vehicles and unmanned aerial systems are among the main highlights at SAHA expo, as Türkiye showcases its latest defense technologies.
Türkiye’s unmanned helicopter Alpin, presented in its second version, can carry a 200 kg payload, remain airborne for up to eight hours and reach a range of 200 km. The system operates autonomously with mostly domestic software and can carry four kamikaze drones for self defence.
It is also designed for logistics and search and rescue missions. Another unmanned helicopter, Dumrul, is designed for stealth operations and can engage targets using onboard missiles, with an endurance of around two hours.Drone swarm technology is also on display, including the Deli S system, which operates in coordinated formations with one lead drone guiding the group.
If the lead unit is disabled, another drone can take over control. The system can remain airborne for around 45 minutes and carry a small warhead.
