Aid For IDPs: MRCS Provides Aid To IDPs In Shan State

Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) has been providing aid to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

In Shan State, the Myanmar Red Cross Society provided such aid as foods, water and blankets to 318 internally displaced persons taking shelter in BawKyo Village of Hsipaw Township. Those 318 internally displaced persons include 28 children and 30 people aged 60 and above.

Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) was founded in 1937. The Society has affiliation with International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and has been implementing humanitarian activities and alleviating human suffering.
