Agriculture Sector: Dy Minister addresses 123rd Farmers' Technology Seminar

The 123rd Farmers' Technology Seminar was held online on August 27, with Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Ye Tint Tun in attendance.

During the seminar, the deputy minister called for the knowledge shared at the event to be passed on and widely distributed. He highlighted the need to expand agricultural technology extension services that support the development of agriculture- and livestock-based micro, small, and medium enterprises.

He also instructed that seed production activities be carried out at the township and village levels to cover quality seed usage across the entire agricultural production sector and to reduce seed costs for farmers. Afterward, an Associate Professor from Yezin Agricultural University presented on the topic "Methods for Manageable Vegetable Seed Production" and provided detailed explanations to questions raised by the attendees.
