Agriculture & Livestock Sector: Implementation Supervising Committee Holds Meeting

The Nay Pyi Taw Council Area’s Agriculture and Livestock Implementation Supervising Committee held its meeting 3/2022.
In this meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Gyi said that for socio economic development of the locals in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, it’s necessary to develop the agriculture sector and efforts are underway to also develop the agriculture- and livestock-based industrial enterprises.
He also urged the committee members to work hand in hand.
The meeting continued with discussions on implementation of the Nay Pyi Taw council area as a strong economic area based on agricultural sector development, agricultural productivity improvement, establishment of modern developed smart villages, acceleration of cooperation, ways to attract more investments, research and technological development and also domestic and foreign markets penetration.
