A technical seminar on “Advancement in Electronic Technologies & Preparing for Readiness” took place at the Depart of Research and Innovation in Yangon on Friday.
It is expected to find a way to have lectures on 5G network in technological universities and computer universities in Myanmar through this seminar.
Director General, Department of Research and Innovation, Win Khaing Moe said “We will try to figure out and work on strengths, weaknesses and requirements for implementing 5G Network in Myanmar and enabling industrial 4.0. After that, we will proceed to purchase necessary equipments and technologies needed to be able to catch up with fast changing technology.”
Experts shared knowledge on future communication: 5G, enabling industrial 4.0 & IOT, advance electronic engineering: design tools and industrial ready: oscilloscope measurements.
Business Development Manager, Tekmark Pte Ltd, Dr. Thein Than Tun said “There are multiple challenges we have to overcome when it comes to research and innovation sector. Capacity building and enough budgets are needed for development of it. Technology is accelerating very quickly so we need to ditch our outdated way of doing things.”
The seminar also featured instruments demonstration, hands-on testing and experiments.
