Advance Vote : University students allowed to vote in advance

The Union Election Commission (UEC) has announced that university, degree college, and college students who will be attending classes when polling begins on December 28, 2025, will be allowed to cast advance votes.

This applies to students studying at universities or colleges located outside their registered constituencies. Eligible students who will be 18 years of age or older on election day may cast their advance votes between November 17 and November 21, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at their respective ward or village election sub-commission offices.

They are required to present their national registration card and a student identification card or enrollment document issued by their university or college.
