Administrative Meeting: Efforts for district-level township development

Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko held a meeting with the district- and township-level departmental personnel.

In the meeting at the Thabyay Hall of Bokpyin Township, the Chief Minister said that as Bokpyin Township has now been reformed as a district-level township, education, health and transportation sectors will improve. He also called for cooperation on regional development.

The meeting continued with Chairman of the Township Administration Council explaining the Council’s work processes, plans for district-level government offices and regional requirements. The meeting concluded with the Chief Minister giving necessary instructions.

After the meeting, the Chief Minister visited the district-level departmental offices and gave words of encouragement to employees. Also, the Chief Minister inspected site for more district-level departmental offices.
