Academic Tour : Vice President visits universities in Yangon

Vice President Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye, accompanied by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu and regional Ministers, made inspections at Yangon University of Economics on Friday.

The Vice President and officials inspected the progress of the Recreation Centre and the designated site for the university's circular road. She emphasized the timely completion of both projects in accordance with established standards, noting that the new facility is expected to promote both physical and mental well-being of the students.

At Dagon University, the Vice President and party oversaw the renovation of the Ruby Roundabout, the football ground, and drainage improvement works. She instructed to carry out campus facelifting measures in line with the university characteristics and to ensure systematic maintenance of sports facilities to encourage the interest and active participation of students in sports activities.

Subsequently, the Vice President and party proceeded to West Yangon University, inspected the cleaning and greening activities and convocation hall project site, coordinated necessities on expansion of university circular road and fencing.
