Academic Excellence: Awards presented to the outstanding students

On Wednesday in Nay Pyi Taw, Honorary Award Presentation Ceremony was held for the outstanding offsprings of Tatmadawmen and service personnel of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air), who excelled in 2025-2026 matriculation exam and Industrial, Agricultural and Livestock University entrance exam.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo attended the ceremony and delivered remarks, calling on young people to continue striving for academic success and contribute to the country’s future. During the ceremony, the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo presented honorary medals, awards and certificates to the three top-performing schools, 3 outstanding youths and 2 students who achieved 6 distinctions.

Following this, wife of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Kyaw Swar Lin and wife and officials presented honorary medals, awards and certificates to Stop-performing schools, outstanding  youths, students who achieved 6 distinctions in matriculation exam and outstanding service peronnal respectively.

The ceremony honored 53 students who achieved distinctions in six subjects, 120 students who achieved distinctions in five subjects, and 29 outstanding students. Awards were also presented to military personnel who achieved distinctions in one to three subjects and to schools with the best academic results.
