76th anniversary of founding PRC: President’s Office UM attended the reception

The ceremony commemorating the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 75th anniversary of Myanmar-China diplomatic relations was held on the evening of September 24 at the WYNDHAM GRAND Yangon Hotel in Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township, Yangon.

Union Minister for the Ministry (1) of the President’s Office U Tin Aung San and his wife attended the event. First, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms. Ma Jia and officials warmly welcomed the Union Minister U Tin Aung San, his wife, and other attendees to the event and accompanied them to view photographic exhibits documenting the history of China.

Following this, the ceremony was opened with the national anthems of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the People's Republic of China, and a video documenting regional development and progress in China was shown. Subsequently, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms. Ma Jia delivered a welcoming speech.

Afterwards, Union Minister for the Ministry (1) of the President’s Office U Tin Aung San gave a congratulatory address for the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 75th anniversary of Myanmar-China diplomatic relations at the commemorative reception.

Subsequently, Union Minister U Tin Aung San and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Myanmar, Ms. Ma Jia, jointly cut a commemorative cake marking the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 75th anniversary of Myanmar-China diplomatic relations.  Then, the Union Minister and the Chinese Ambassador took a group commemorative photograph with the attendees of the reception ceremony, and the Ambassador hosted a dinner banquet for the honored guests present.
