The 75th Anniversary of Shan State Day which falls on 7th February 2022 took place in Hopang of “Wa” Self-Administered Division, Monday.
First, Chairman of “Wa” Self-Administered Division U Nyi Nat read the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min AungHlaing. Chairman of District Administrative Body also read out the message of Shan State Chief Minister marking 75th Anniversary of Shan State Day.
The ceremony was attended by Executive Committee Chairman and members of “Wa” Self-Administered Division, chairman and members of district/township administrative bodies, region/district/township departmental officials, ethnic cultural troupes and social organizations.
Likewise, similar ceremony was held in Yat Sauk township, the southern Shan State on the same day. The Chairman and secretary of Township Administrative Body read out the Shan State Day messages sent by SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and the Shan State Chief Minister.
The township administrative body chairman and members presented honoraria and certificates of honour to winners of Men and Women Myanmar Martial Art Competition of Shan State Government and the township-wise Body Fitness (Aerobic) Contest as well as volunteers who contributed their efforts in COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment activities.
