74th Anniversary: Tatmadaw (Air) Commemoration & Alms Offering Ceremonies

A military parade commemorating the 74th Anniversary of the Tatmadaw (Air) was held on Wednesday at the Flying Training Base in Meiktila.

Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, retired Commanders-in-Chief (Air), Air Base Commanders, officers and other ranks from Meiktila Station and invitees attended the ceremony.

The military parade was held as planned with saluting the national flag and all fallen soldiers.

The Commander-in-Chief (Air) inspected the parade and delivered a speech to mark the 74th Anniversary of the Tatmadaw (Air). Also, Paritta reciting ceremony and alms offering ceremony were held at Aircraft Production and Repair Base.

Members of the Sangha headed by the Vice-Chairman of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Sayadaw, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, Air Base Commanders and guests attended the reciting ceremonies. The Commander-in-Chief (Air) and party also donated offertories to the members of the Sangha, shared the merit gained and donated alms to the Sayadaws.
