67th Anniversary of Kayin State Day: Chairman of State Administration Council sends message

Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing sent a message on the occasion of the 67th Anniversary of the Kayin State Day falling on the 7th of November. In his message, the Senior General wished all national brethren across the country health and prosperity.

He also praised the natural beauty of the Kayin State, resources, customs and traditions of the Kayin people and environs to develop the tourism industry.

The Government has been making efforts to address the impacts of the COVID-19 disease on the country’s economy including the 5 year project from the year of 2022-2023 to 2026-2027 which will cover sectors including financial betterment, digital economy development, agriculture, livestock and renewable energy development process.

The Senior General also stressed the 5-point road map and 9 objectives of the State Administration Council for stability and development of the country and socioeconomic development of the citizens.

Also, he highlighted the efforts for national reconciliation and peace in the country and peace talks with the KNU/KNLA-PC and DKBA as well as agreements reached.

Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) is important to build a peaceful country and both NCA signatories and non-signatories are ought to take the NCA path.

Only the unity in the country can bring peace. Now is the time making efforts for peace process which is necessary for building a union based on the democracy and federal system that the entire people want. The Senior General concluded his message, urging the ethnic brothers and sisters in Kayin State to cooperate with each other for the efforts.
