5th Anniv. Intl. Transport Summit: 19 Intl. cities signed an application for transport co-op

Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon were among 19 international cities that signed an application for transport cooperation with Moscow during the opening of the 5th Anniversary International Transport Summit-2026 in Moscow, Russia on Aug 3.

The agreement was signed by Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Kan Myint Than, Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC) Chairman Yangon Mayor U Myo Myint Aung and Deputy Mayor of Moscow city for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Mr.  Maxim Liksutov.

The summit, running from Aug. 2 to 6, brings together partner cities to exchange expertise on transport system modernization, digital innovations, and urban mobility strategies aimed at improving transportation services and residents' quality of life.
