32 countries presented Indonesia’s traditional dances

In Jakarta, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia held recently the 2023 Indonesia Channel, an art and cultural performance by the Indonesian Art and Culture Fellowship (BSBI) recipients. During the event, the 45 fellowship recipients from 32 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Pacific-Oceania presented their Indonesian dancing skills.

At the event included some of the Indonesian featured Traditional Dances. The fellows have learned the dances in the past two months in five art workshops across Indonesia. BSBI is one of the ministry’s leading programs to promote Indonesia’s art and culture to the global communities.
