2nd Coordination Meeting: Meeting to hold Youth Strategy Forum 2025 held

The second coordination meeting for the successful implementation of the Future Front Myanmar: Youth Strategy Forum 2025 was held at the main meeting hall of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Office No. 31, in Nay Pyi Taw on August 26.

Deputy Minister U Zin Min Htet gave an opening speech, stating that the forum is designed to provide young people with basic knowledge of international affairs, geopolitics, and national strategy. It also aims to enhance their leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills. He urged the attendees to ensure that young people from the regions and states wear their respective traditional ethnic attire for the opening and closing ceremonies and discussion sessions.

Next, Yangon Region Minister for Social Affairs U Htay Aung provided a detailed overview of the plans for the opening and closing ceremonies, accommodation arrangements, and field trips. Social affairs ministers from other regions and states then reported on the selection of outstanding youth representatives and their preparations for the event.
The Deputy Minister concluded the meeting by providing additional details on the preparations and field trip plans and delivered a final speech. The meeting revealed the planned activities for the upcoming forum, which will feature a series of discussions and workshops. Mr. Atul Aneja, a strategic analyst from India, will speak on "Understanding the Global Geopolitical Landscape," "The Changing World and Myanmar's Geopolitics," and "Myanmar's Geopolitics and the Multipolar World." Mr. Lorenzo, an associate professor from SUPDI in Switzerland, will discuss "Myanmar and Geo-economic Strategy," "The Changing World and Myanmar's Geo-economics," and "Myanmar's Geo-economics and the Multipolar World."

The forum will also include a "Myanmar Narrative Think Tank" group workshop on topics such as Future education and skills, economic opportunities and youth entrepreneurship, civic engagement and youth leadership, sustainability and climate action, global connectivity and cultural promotion. Other activities will include such as "World Café" style discussions, "Icebreaker" and "Energizer" quizzes, and summary sessions, it’s reported.
