22nd APT Policy & Regulatory Forum: Dy Minister Participates Virtually In Roundtable Session

“The 22nd APT Policy and Regulatory Forum (PRF-22)” organized by the Asia Pacific Telecummunity-APT is being held in Bangkok by hybrid format from the 19th to 21st July.

As part of the meeting program, the Ministerial roundtable session was held on Tuesday and Deputy Minister for Transport and Communications Brig-Gen Lu Mon participated virtually in the session. On the occasion, the General Secretary of APT and the hair of the Forum gave opening remarks. 6 participants including the Deputy Minister shared the experiences on the governments, entrepreneurs and  policy strategies that citizens have the right to work to accelerate the digital transformation and approach ways in implementing digital development in Asia-Pacific countries under the topic “Digital Transformation and Innovation Strategies for Sustainable Digital Society ”. This annual forum has been held since 2005 to develop communication and ICT sectors in Asia-Pacific countries and to adopt harmonized policy to be compatible with the region.

At the discussion, the APT Secretary General Mr. Masanori Kondo performed as a moderator and ministers and deputy ministers from Thailand, Japan, Myanmar, Malaysia, Mongolia and Viet Nam participated as speakers.
