He urged staff to continuously strive for innovation and excellence in their research efforts. Following the speech, Director General of the Department of Agricultural Research, Dr. Aung Moe Myo Tint, explained the department’s current achievements and future work plans.

The Union Minister and Deputy Ministers then presented 43 Research Excellence Awards.
