20th General Assembly: ASEAN War Veterans Meet Via Videoconferencing

The 33rd Executive Committee Meeting of the ASEAN War Veterans Association and 20th General Assembly were convened on Wednesday via videoconferencing chaired by the Vietnam Veterans Association.

Chairpersons, Vice-Chairpersons and delegations from 10 ASEAN member countries, four Myanmar delegation members led by Lt-Gen Sein Win (Retd), Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar War Veterans Association, attended the meeting.

The 33rd Executive Committee Meeting was chaired by Vice-Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association.

At the Executive Committee meeting, 10 resolutions proposed to be submitted to the 20th General Assembly were reviewed and approved.

The 20th General Assembly was chaired by Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association. At the conference, the decisions of the 33rd Executive Committee meeting were approved and the chairmanship was handed over to the Thai Veterans Association.
