2026 Cobra Gold kicks off in Thailand

The 45th Cobra Gold Military Drill was officially opened on Tuesday in Rayong province of Thailand with more than 30 nations and 8,000 personnel participating in a drill. It was the largest multilateral military exercise in Southeast Asia which features seven primary participants including Thailand, the United States, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia.

This 2026 training concept focuses on Combined Joint All- Domain Operations which integrated traditional land, sea, and air maneuvers with advanced space and cyber operations. The drill was scheduled to run until 6th March.
