1st Day of 2nd Regular Session: 3rd Amyotha Hluttaw held its 1st day of 2nd regular session

The First Day of the second regular meeting of the Third Amyotha Hluttaw was held on June 2nd, at 10:00 AM in the Amyotha Hluttaw Hall in Nay Pyi Taw.

First, a member of the Amyotha Hluttaw who had not yet taken the oath of office did so and signed the oath register.

After that, the Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw delivered an opening address.

Subsequently, congratulatory messages sent to the Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw were presented to the Hluttaw, and the Hluttaw officially recorded them.

Next, the Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw submitted to the Hluttaw a list of 15 members to form the International Relations Committee, including U Chit Swe from Ayeyarwady Region Constituency No. 10 as Chairman and U Aung Min Naing from Chin State Constituency No. 9 as Secretary. The Hluttaw announced its approval of the list.

Today's meeting was adjourned at 10:20 AM. The second day of the meeting will continue on June 3rd at 10:00 AM, it’s learnt.
