12th Plenary Meeting: Second-day session continued in Yangon

12th Plenary Meeting of the 8th 47-member State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee continued in Yangon on Thursday.

Chairman of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Presiding Sayadaw of Bhamo Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Kumara Bhivamsa and members graced the second-day session of the meeting, which was attended by Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko, the Director-Generals, officers and staff of the Religious Affairs Department and the Department for Promotion and Propagation of Sasana.

The meeting discussed the Vinicchaya and religious affairs being implemented during the fourth term of the first Sub-committee of the 8th State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee, as well as religious and academic matters.
