“Pan Khin” Project: NRCs and household lists issued to the people in Tachileik

32,964 national registration cards have been issued to 30,439 population of 6,963 households out of 54,063 people in the eastern Shan State through Pan Khin project from 3th May 2021 to until now and the project has been completed 60.97%, according to Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun.

In Tachileik district, 5,877 national registration cards have been issued to 887 households and the work process completed 48.19%, the Chief Minister said at the ceremony on presenting household lists and national registration cards through Pan Khin project in the eastern Shan State on 9th January.

At the event, the NRC cards and household lists were presented to Tachileik, Mong Phat and Mong Yaung townships. It was followed by a ceremony to provide cash assistance to Youth Development Centres and Home for the aged in Tachileik district.

At the ceremony, the State Chief Minister presented cash provided by the Department of Social Welfare of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement for 3 youth development centers and 1 home for the aged to concerned officials.
