Thingyan in Rakhine State: Traditional festival with variety of programs

Thingyan Pandals in Rakhine State continued celebrating the traditional festival, with variety of performances on 14th April.
Chief Minister U Htein Lin and wife, together with concerned officials, took part in the celebration. In the morning, they visited Nandar Rama PariyattiSarthintaik in Sittwe and donated offertories to the Presiding Sayadaw.
In the evening, they visited the Thingyan Pandals, enjoying the performance of Yein dance troupes. Cash rewards were also presented to the participants. They also took part in the Rakhine tradition water pandal and enjoyed the throwing of water, enjoying the entertainment programs.
