Strawberry festival kicks off in Meghalaya

The two-day Meghalaya Strawberry festival kicked off on Friday at Sohliya Village in the North Eastern state of Meghalaya.
Activities such as strawberry picking, cycling treks, live music, cultural performances, and workshops on local beverages are the attractions among others.
The event aims to promote the flavorful strawberries of the state, agro-tourism, and local business centres as well as influence more farmers to pursue strawberry horticulture.
