Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods: MOC Union Minister oversees trade operations in Mandalay

Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn on November 10th, met with officials from the Departments of Trade, Consumer Affairs, Intellectual Property, and the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization in Mandalay Region.
During the meetings, updates on trading processes were discussed, and the Union Minister provided necessary instructions. On the 11th, the Union Minister visited the Brokers House in Mandalay, where he met with merchants involved in beans and pulses, maize, and sesame trading.
Emphasizing the importance of local food security, he instructed measures for a smooth flow of commodities and emphasized the need to boost exports. He also stressed the significance of systematic supervision to ensure product quality and the production of value-added goods.
The Union Minister then inspected the operational processes at the Maha Sanpya Nwe Rice Mill in Amarapura Township and the Sein Lamin Beans and Pulses Processing Mill in Maha Aung Myay Township.
At the Myit Nge Dry Port, he provided instructions for the systematic implementation of work processes in accordance with regulations.
In the evening, the Union Minister held a meeting with officials from the Committee on Ensuring Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods, coordinating efforts to address the region's trade needs.
