Sangha hospital building: Mon State CM laid foundation of Sangha hospital building

Laying foundation ceremony to construct the Sangha hospital building, operating theater and radiology room at the MyintMyat Sate Htar Jivitadana free of charge clinic located in the precinct of Kya Khat Ngu Monastery was held at the monastery in Kya Khat Ngu Village-tract, Paung Township of Mon State on Sunday.

The ceremony was attended by Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, State ministers, concerned officials and donors. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister and party observed five precepts from the chairman of the village-tract Sangha Nayaka, LatPanThan Monastery presiding Sayadaw and took the Parittasutas recited by the members of sangha.

Then, the Chief Minister donated offertories to the members of sangha. Next, the donors donated cash and construction materials for the construction of the Sangha hospital building, operating theater and radiology room respectively and shared merits gained for the donation.

Leading by the venerable Sayadaws, the Chief Minister, State ministers and donors laid the foundation and sprinkled scented water and concluded the ceremony. Then, the Chief Minster and party looked around the clinic.
