Myanmar Situation Update: SAC Information Team makes clarifications

Leader of the Information Team of the State Administration Council Major General Zaw Min Tun on Saturday provided update on the situation in Myanmar.

The Major General highlighted the joint maritime security exercise by the Tatmadaw (Navy) and China’s 44th PLA Navy Escort Task Group, continuation of crackdown on illegal residency in border areas and attacks in the northeastern Shan State, Kayah State and Kayin State on the 2nd of December. He also stressed that the MNDAA forcefully recruits people who went to work in Lauk Kai and returned.
